'I can't sew on a button' - learn the basics with Audrey!

Slow down and take some time out with this creative workshop, hosted my local artist Audrey McMenemy. This session creates space to learn as you go as you dive into the world of sewing. This workshop is designed for anyone wanting to learn a new craft, and get to grips with the basics.

"A relaxed class where we look at using applique, stitches, beads and buttons to create decorative work - you'll definitely know how to sew on a button after this!" Audrey McMenemy, workshop lead.

Spaces are for this workshop are limited to 8, so book in soon to avoid disappointment! £15/person. We don't want cost to be a barrier, so there is an option to pay a donation of what you can.

WHAT IS THE REUSE HUB?

The Reuse Hub is an exciting space in the Springkerse area of Stirling, where items and materials are rescued from going to waste. The Makerspace of the Stirling Reuse Hub is where items are upcycled and re-made by our team of local makers. At the Reuse Hub we have found that our workshops and volunteering opportunities provide people with a sense of purpose and an opportunity to form friendships.

Refunds are offered at the discretion of the workshop lead. Our opening hours are: Wed-Sat 10-5, Sun 11-4. We are CLOSED on Mondays and Tuesdays.
